Shahid Kapoor‘s latest movie, Deva, had a strong opening weekend, marking his big return to theaters after nearly a year. The film is directed by Malayalam filmmaker Rosshan Andrrews, making his debut in Bollywood. It is said to be a remake of the 2013 Malayalam film Mumbai Police, which was also directed by Andrrews.

On Sunday, February 2, Deva saw an 18.59% increase in earnings. According to film industry tracker Sacnilk, the movie made ₹7.59 crore on its third day in Indian theaters.
The film, produced by Roy Kapur Films and Zee Studios, collected ₹5.5 crore on its first day. By the end of the opening weekend, it had earned ₹19.49 crore in India.

On Sunday, Deva had a 5.34% overall occupancy in Hindi theaters. It performed best in South Indian cities:

- Bengaluru: 20.25%
- Mumbai: 18.75%
- Hyderabad & Pune: 17.75%
Worldwide Collection
By the end of Day 3, Deva had earned ₹20.75 crore globally. This includes ₹14.35 crore from India and ₹6.4 crore from overseas markets.
